The purpose of this study is to explore the role of EI within the banking industry, particularly its impact on managerial practices, aiming to contribute to both academic literature and practical applications.This research seeks to investigate how EI influences managerial roles and organizational dynamics, providing insights to optimize organizational performance and foster a positive work environment. Qualitative data analysis was conducted using a combination of thematic analysis and the Gioia method, complemented by semi-structured and in-depth interviews. The study also examines relevant theories to gain a better understanding of findings and interview results. The study illustrates a proactive approach among banking managers towards personal and professional growth, highlighting commitment to continuous learning, situational leadership, and self-awareness. Effective communication, open dialogue, and personalized support emerge as key strategies in fostering a collaborative work environment, promoting trust, resilience, and performance enhancement within teams. The findings emphasize the importance of ongoing support networks and reflection meetings (feedback) in addressing individual concerns and maintaining a positive organizational culture.
